How to install QR Scanner apk for android
- For Android 4.0 or higher:Please to Settings, look down to Security, and select Unknown sources. Choosing this choice will enable to install apps download from the internet.
- For devices running on lower Android 4.0:
Please go to Settings - open the Applications option, and select Unknown sources, click OK on the popup alert.

This is a very basic version and the application is still under development.So, what does it do ?
It allows you to scan a QR Code ( If you don't know what a QR code is, go here : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QR_code ) and retrieves information based on it from a database.
This application comes in two parts, one is the Android app, and the other, a PHP file which has to be set up on your own web server.
How is this app useful ?
You can use it as any kind of custom tag and scan system.
Identity cards for events, Inventory tagging with info and prices, Student grades or course information tagging, etc.
