The Maya App, developed by the Maya Health Network, is a streamlined and secure application designed specifically for busy doctors. The Maya App lets doctors create and share digital patient records, send secure, real time messages to colleagues, and analyze data to unlock health insights all from their smartphone. The Maya App enables the creation of robust, virtual provider networks, allowing doctors to leverage technology to improve their lives and the health of their patients.The Maya App has two primary functions: 1) streamlined patient records and 2) secure messaging that integrates with patient records.
With the Maya App, creating patient records is simple and quick. With a few taps and swipes, a busy doctor can jot down a few notes, record vitals, take a picture. Unlike conventional EMRs Maya lets you capture just the truly essential clinical information, freeing you up to spend more time with your patients. With Maya you create a chronologically ordered record of encounters using your smartphone. You can add notes on allergies, keep track of vitals, and record chorionic conditions and family history. You can then refer back to that record whenever you need to, so you don’t forget any key details or waste time asking patients to provide information over and over. Since the data is stored within the app you can share the patient record with other doctors with whom you’re connected allowing you and your colleagues to collaborate on patient care and allowing you to see earlier notes and actions. The patient’s record now moves and grows with them as you and your colleagues collaborate within the app.
