How to setup 2Meditate apk for android
- For Android 4.0 or higher:Please to Settings, look down to Security, and select Unknown sources. Choosing this choice will enable to install apps download from the internet.
- For devices running on lower Android 4.0:
Please go to Settings - open the Applications option, and select Unknown sources, click OK on the popup alert.
2Meditate Details
With 2Meditate, begin meditating with 2 minute voice-guided rejuvenating meditations. Then eventually graduate to the 20 minute long global ongoing guided meditation, 24/7, featuring the voice of a weekly changing internationally renowned meditation guru. You can jump in from anywhere in the world, start listening to the global meditation, see where others are currently meditating on the map on the screen, and chat with them after you finish your meditation.You can choose to meditate by yourself, by selecting from our list of meditations. Our carefully built ever-growing meditation list contains mostly mindfulness meditations, each one with a different purpose (e.g., anti-anxiety, self-soothing, gratitude, chronic pain), and collected from carefully selected meditation teachers. You can find out about the teacher’s work by a simple click on their picture!
Instead of joining the global meditation with the global group, you can choose to create a group of your own friends, schedule a meditation from our list to start at the time you select. On the map, you will be able to see who else from your group is joining in or stopping in the middle. In doing so, you will be simulating a meditation room in which the teacher is teaching and the group members come in any time they want. After the meditation, the group members can give feedback to each other and chat with each other.
If you are a beginner, there are many video tutorials in the app that describe how and where you should sit, the posture that is good for meditation, different types of mindfulness meditations, and what to expect from this experience. You can begin with 2 minute voice-guided meditations - in your car while you are waiting to pick your children up, in the parking lot, on the airport, train-station, bus-station, at the DMV, waiting for jury duty, short break at work or at home, and so on…. Anytime, Anywhere, 24/7.
Our goal in creating this App is threefold. First, to make meditating simple and doable for people with busy lifestyles who may have just 2 minutes at a time. Second, to help people to keep the meditation practice going by offering a variety of 20 minute meditations. Third, the most important one, to create a supportive community of world-wide meditators in order to increase motivation, accountability, and empathy for strangers and friends alike.
