'SmartShop currently available in selected trial stores around the country as we continue to improve the appBut whichever Sainsbury's you shop at, you can register your interest for when SmartShop may be coming to you.
Plan –> Shop –> Pay
· Create and edit your shopping list on your phone.
· Scan your items as you shop, so there’s no need to unload at checkout.
· Most participating stores have dedicated card-only SmartShop checkouts.

Simply sign up or register your interest for when SmartShop may be coming to you.
Already registered in-store?
You can log into the app using the same credentials that you signed up with in-store.
What's new in Sainsbury's SmartShop 2.2.1
Listening to your feedback we have added the below features:• You now have the option to keep the scanner open after each scan or have it close
• You can now scan your nectar card on registration rather than having to manually enter it
We have also added:
• A noise alert to tell you if we need to do a rescan at the end of your shop
• A new screen on starting shop to give you some quick information
