BibliotequesXBM Details
BibliotequesXBM is the application developed by Diputació de Barcelona that tells you which libraries and bookmobiles of Municipal Network Libraries are nearest to you and the activities they offer. The application finds and places on the map activities and closest libraries to the point where you are or you specify.You can search activities by keyword, date, type of activity, municipality, library and bookmobile and save favourite activities and libraries in the application or your phone calendar. The basic information of each library includes schedules, location on map, how to get, contact details and activities. In the case of mobile libraries you will also find information on stops, activities and the possibility to contact the bookmobile.
Also, if you validate with your card keys, you could use the bar code generated by the application to access to the library services (you can store more than one membership cards). You could also consult the catalogue and your account to see the documents you have borrowed, renew them, and do and cancel reservations. It also allow you to book Internet sessions.
Municipal Library Network (XBM) is formed by more than 225 libraries and 9 mobile libraries.
