These flash cards cover over 200 words in the categories: Animals, Basics, Body, Calendar, Clothing, Colors, Family, Food, Home, Numbers, Office, Outdoors, Places and Verbs!This is a simple and fast way to learn Norwegian vocabulary, or brush up on what you might already know. First the flash card shows the word in English. Tap the card to flip it and see the word in Norwegian, as well as hear it spoken in Norwegian. Use the arrows to toggle through the cards in each category.
For this app to work you MUST install the Norwegian voice on your device. You can do this through the FREE "Google Text-to-speech" app. If you already have Google Text-to-speech follow these instructions:
1.) Open Settings
2.) Choose “Language & input”
3.) Choose “Text-to-speech output”
4.) Choose “Google text-to-speech Engine”
5.) Choose “Install voice data”
6.) Download Norwegian
7.) One it is fully downloaded, repoen Norwegian Flashcards
